First off, wow have I failed miserably on keeping up with my blog this term. I started out the term sick, and it's taken me a long time to recover. I didn't feel like I had been overly productive this term, until I stepped back and looked at how much I've accomplished. I'll save that talk for my next posting. This post is dedicated strictly to the Boba Fett collection. As it stands right now, I have produced 20 cards (!). It's been a much bigger chore than I originally intended. I didn't think I would grow so tired of doing something semi-creative, but I have. I think some of my growing frustration with this series is the fact that I feel obligated to do it. I don't care how simple something is, when you feel like you have to produce something similar that many times, it's going to get tedious. I also don't feel like they're overly creative, so I'm not very emotionally invested in them. A lot of them look the same to me, but maybe I'm just too close to the project. On the flip side of this is the fact that there are a lot of cards left unregistered, which forces me to have to check on them to see if they were found. Some of them haven't been but most have. I'll have to look at the numbers, but I'm guessing only about 65% of the cards have been registered. | |
