This started as a fun way of hyping up the BFA show in June, and poking a little fun at collectibility at the same time, but alas it's time for it to come to a close. Honestly, this became more of a chore than I anticipated. By the last four or five cards I was struggling to figure out new ways to make them. It seems that with each iteration they became more and more complex and time consuming. I'd like to call it a labor of love, but I've never understood the passion for Boba Fett and he's honestly not a character I can really connect with. That was part of why I wanted to use him for this project. He became popular in the first place because of genius marketing from George Lucas and Fox. Why couldn't I do the same thing using the same figure? And in case you're wondering, there are still a few cards still hiding in Campbell Hall, apparently very well. #24 in particular will take a long time to find, even if you're scouring the building. Good Luck! | |
